The next day, 15 June 2018, Crown Prince Haakon was present at the official launch of Kjeller Horisont, in Kunnskapsbyens Hus at Kjeller. Kjeller Innovation has launched this new fund investing in sustainable technology and deep-tech innovations from leading research institutes and universities. The European Investment Fund (EIF) has committed itself to investing 20 million euros, and now Norwegian investors are invited to join.

At the launch, he met some of the most promising startup companies supported by Kjeller Innovation. Many of these startups originate from the Institute for Energy Technology, and VISAVI is one of those.  The Crown Prince could personally try out the features of VISAVI LivePlan.
